Istanbul, Turkey - Blue Mosque
The Blue Mosque in Istanbul is just beautiful. It was built in the
baroque era - 15-1600s or thereabout and is still in use today. Tourists
to the worshippers. In addition, women wearing shorts or short skirts
are offered a cloth to wrap around them as a skirt as they ask for you to
be a bit more conservative on the inside.
Sophia, which was originally built as a church back in the 4th century.
Modern day orthodox churches - and mosques - are modeled after it.
