Europe 2005 - Vincennes
Vincennes is a southeastern suburb of Paris.  It's also the last stop on the #1 /
yellow metro line which put us in the perfect spot to get anywhere in Paris!  We
were a little bit out from metro stop though.  It was probably a mile-long walk to
and from the metro.  But - right next to the metro stop was a beautiful medieval
castle that was the former home of the kings of France.  It was undergoing
renovations at the time so we weren't really able to see a lot, but that's ok.  We
could easily wander around the grounds and do a bit of our own exploring!
