Europe 2005 - Versailles

| Ahh - nothing beats a lovely day in the country where you can't help but walk the gardens of Versailles, probably the most well-known of the palatial estates owned by the French monarchy. Of course that last involuntary move from the chateau to the Place de la Revolution (now known as the Place de la Concorde) probably wasn't the most pleasant. I suppose one can't help but lose one's head when meeting Madame, la Guillotine! |
