Mountains - absolutely gorgeous! It was definitely a big change from the flat
Indiana cornfields I was used to! The people, in general, were a lot friendlier and
more open than in the rest of Bulgaria. Even other Bulgarian described the Rhodope
mountains as more casual, friendly and laid back. They were all right! Within a
month, I knew all my neighbors in my entrance in my apartment block and by that
time, they'd all already pretty much adopted me! I miss them so much!
