| Volunteer events September 20 - Voter registration canvassing 4-7pm - Staging location - TBD September 21 - Two events! (feel free to help with both!) Women to Women postcard project Write postcards to other Columbus Women about why you support Barack Obama. (Men can help, too! We'll need to address them, right?!) 2-4pm - Heather's House Phone bank Who doesn't love a good phone bank? Help call undecided voters. | Neighborhood needs! Email me if you want to run with any of these ideas. We need them all! Thanks! Heather 1. Phone bank coordinator - we need someone to set up a location (can be your house or office) for a 2-hour phone bank. Once if you can, once a week if you'd really like. Ideally we need this to be set up by the end of the month. If you can hold a small handful of volunteers, it'll be perfect. 2. Canvassing Coordinator - we need someone to set up staging locations and to organize volunteers for 3-hour neighborhood canvassing events. 3. Event anyone? - Set up a house party, potluck or meeting at a cafe to talk about Barack Obama's Campaign for Change. Discuss with your friends about how Barack Obama and Joe Biden are going to work to change America for the better. This can be for a couple of hours or a whole evening - whatever you're most comfortable doing. Informal conversations and events like these are going to be how we win the election on November 4. 4. Team name - We need a team name. We can't just be 09B02! (That's our region / neighborhood) Send me your ideas so we can decide what to call ourselves! Thanks! Heather |
